WEIRD DOLL WEDNESDAY, PART 89

I've no idea what country she's from. Any guesses?

One of these days, I'll iron her skirt.

Evita teaser: spent a whole afternoon remaking the skirt of the big white dress. It has 7 layers: petticoat, satin, nylon net and 4 layers of tulle.  It's the Don't Cry For Me Argentina dress.

Stay tuned.......

  1. Greece? The country, not a suggestion for a musical... The waistcoat and blue/white look suitably Hellenic to me! xxx

  2. Am with Curtise - could be Greece. Or maybe somewhere in Eastern Europe?

  3. The apron hints at "peasant", whilst the vest and blue white speak Greek. However, is that cloth supposed to be some sort of regional headress? The French peasantry of Provence had some spectacular headgear a la "Flying Nun".

  4. I'm thinking maybe Greece? Can't wait to see the Evita gown!
