WEIRD DOLL WEDNESDAY, PART 116

Another vacation doll. I bought this one new at an arts store in Seilgmen, Arizona. It's a Hopi Kachina doll. It's a bear and has F. C. on the bottom. You can tell if Native American pieces are real by looking for the artist name and official tag on the item. So much stuff sold at roadside stores is from China. If you're going to buy a piece of Native American art, buy it from an Native American artist. This doll was only $10.

oh, look, you can see the red Day of the Dead skull in the background. Heche en Mexico, not China.

  1. That is one floofy bear we have dancing there! Looks like ol' White Bear is taking a hint in updating his image from Smokey the Bear and triming down while sleeking up! What a nice figure to add to your collection, Thorne.

  2. This is one of my favourite dolls in your collection so far. It is captivating. Unexpected.
