YESTERDAY I HAD A QUESTION ABOUT ARMOR

We use this stuff

It's a thin, plastic that comes in different styles and eras.

To make it stronger and last, we papier mached it using wood glue. After it dried, the armor was painted using craft store paints, nothing fancy.

Here's some of the finished pieces lined up in the scene shop.

To add more detail, we glued bits and pieces of broken jewelry and added elastic to use as straps.

This armor was used in Pippen, which is the reason for the colorful paint job. As the "naked" aromr is white, it can be painted any color.

  1. well, those armors look appropriately colorful and fancy!, I think that papier maché is a fantastic material, it's so cheap and works on any surface!
Very interesting to know there're plastic armors for any style!
